Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence (Class 2) with a clean record.
• CPC qualification and Digi-card.
• Proven HGV driving experience, ideally with 18tn vehicles.
• Knowledge of road regulations and safety standards.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries.
• Good communication skills for client and team interactions.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver with a clean UK driving licence, CPC qualification, and Digi-card to safely operate 18tn curtain-sided lorries. The ideal candidate has commercial driving experience, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to safety, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs to deliver goods on scheduled routes.
• Plan routes efficiently while complying with legal driving hours and safety regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Secure cargo correctly to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery updates.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
