Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Experience with flatbed and commercial driving is highly desirable. Duties

• Safely operate lorries, including flatbed trucks, across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness
• Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules and minimise delays
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with legal requirements
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any issues encountered during transit
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
• Assist with securing loads on flatbeds to prevent movement during transit
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure continuous safe operation

Experience

• Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery driver experience
• Familiarity with flatbed truck operations is advantageous
• Valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles (e.g., LGV or HGV licence)
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
• Demonstrated ability to handle long hours on the road responsibly and professionally
