Goldholme Stone, a leading UK limestone quarrying and stone manufacturing company, is looking to recruit a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to work within a well-established quarry environment, transporting high-quality natural stone products across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any driver who is looking to achieve more of a work-life balance as your usual working hours are from 7am-5pm with no overnight stays required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe and efficient delivery of stone products to customers and sites
• Loading and unloading of materials (using appropriate equipment where required)
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork
• Representing the company professionally on-site and with customers
• Adhering to all health & safety and transport regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 HGV licence
• HIAB Licence (Or willingness to be trained as this can be provided)
• Valid CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Previous experience in a similar role (quarry or construction environment desirable but not essential)
• Good knowledge of UK road networks
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
