Pay Rate: $50.00 $56.00/hr
Schedule: Monday Friday,
Contract: 13 weeks

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Waimea, HI. This role includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient therapy, with a strong focus on independent patient care, mobility progression, evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments
• Provide care in outpatient, inpatient, acute, ICU, SNF, Med/Surg, ER, and occasional OB settings
• Support acute-to-SNF mobility progression and discharge planning
• Treat a variety of outpatient diagnoses in a rural healthcare setting
• Manage a mixed caseload of approximately 5 15 patients per day
• Develop individualized therapy plans based on patient needs and goals
• Document patient progress and communicate with the care team

Requirements

• Active Hawaii Physical Therapist license required or must obtain ASAP
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience required
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Inpatient and outpatient therapy experience required
• SNF, acute care, ICU, Med/Surg, and discharge planning experience preferred
• Must be able to work Saturdays as needed
• Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting
