Job Overview

Mountain Closets is hiring: High-end Closet/Cabinet Installer.

No experience required as we will train the right ambitious individual. However, knowledge in working with the trades is valuable. Competency using hand and power tools in a safe manner is highly sought after.

Any experience with trim work, carpentry, or cabinet installation is welcomed, however it is necessary to learn our systems and adapt to our company work flow. A positive attitude and willingness to learn or be taught will help you excel within our company. Strong organization skills are desired.

We work in a very fast paced environment with frequent deadlines. Time management is crucial within our installation crews. We will provide the proper training to set you up for success as long as you value what is being taught. There is room for growth within our team and will discuss this in more detail during the interview process.

MUST LIVE WITHIN A 1 HOUR COMMUTE OF OUR WAREHOUSE!

Position Duties

• As an installer you will be installing high end organization, closets, garage, and cabinet systems throughout the Roaring Fork, Aspen, and Vail Valleys.
• Daily tasks will include loading and unloading material both by hand and with a fork- lift. This involves packing(manual labor) material from Vans into our job sites which include: houses, condos, townhomes, high rise buildings and everything in between. Pack-ins can often be challenging/difficult
• Using hand and power tools in a safe manner
• Operating company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
• Unloading material at the warehouse, receiving and sorting pallets, and checking in material in an accurate and organized manner
• Job site, shop, and vehicle cleanliness.
• Organizing and taking proper care of company tools
• Working independently as well with a team in a fast pace setting.
• Writing and reading instructions, reading plans, and keeping accurate notes in the job folders.

Position Requirements

• Basic hand tools(Tool bag, tape measure, impact driver and drill, utility knife, screw drivers, speed square, file)
• Valid Colorado drivers license and an insurable driving record
• Ability to walk, stoop, stand, carry, bend, climb, & reach for a minimum of 8 hours daily
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently on a regular basis
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must be legal to work in the US.
• Must be able to use or be taught how to use a smartphone and company software for scheduling and time clock purposes
• Must be able to work long hours and overtime is frequently required
• Must have reliable transportation to and from our warehouse located in Cattle Creek between Glenwood Springs and Carbondale.
• High attention to detail is a must
• Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot in a team or independently
• You must have a positive attitude and carry yourself with high regard as we constantly work with high-end designers, builders, and home owners.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
