Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Christian High School Teacher to inspire and educate students across a diverse range of subjects. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Facilitate lessons in Technology, Mass Media, Health, and Career Prep.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and ongoing assessments.
  • Foster a positive Christian classroom environment by managing behavior effectively and employing classroom management techniques that promote respect, collaboration, and active participation.
  • Integrate learning technology tools to enhance instruction and facilitate interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities related to childhood development, special education practices, Montessori methods, or education administration to continually refine teaching skills.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and upcoming assessments or projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred.
  • Proven classroom experience working with high school students across various grade levels.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively.
  • Experience with learning technology platforms and digital instructional tools.
  • Demonstrated ability in classroom management, behavior management techniques, and childhood development principles.
  • Experience working in private schools or alternative educational settings such as Montessori or special education environments is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15,000.00 per year
