Position Overview
The position of the Graphics Art Teacher serves as a teacher for the development and technical training of students within the Visual Arts department. The position works cooperatively with the Visual Arts Department and the Director of Fine Arts to ensure a robust, creative, and professional graphic design curriculum that supports the school’s mission.
Essential Characteristics

- Demonstrates passion for excellence worthy of Christ: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” Colossians 3:23
- Exemplifies a Christ-like attitude in both written and verbal communication
- Ministers and prays with others; communicates the love of Jesus to further the mission of the School. Attend, participate, and lead faculty devotions and Chapel on a rotating basis
- Approachable, with an appropriate balance of high expectations, patience, and mentorship
- A team-player who is willing to listen to the ideas, concerns, and solutions of others
- Knowledgeable and competent in areas of safe school culture necessary to support school’s mission
