At My Virtual Academy, we’re looking for a High School Guide to help students take control of their learning and stay on the path to graduation — all online.

About Us Since 1991, we’ve empowered students across Michigan to earn their diplomas through personalized virtual learning. Our team supports each student holistically with flexibility, tools, and mentorship.

What You'll Do

• Maintain weekly communication with each assigned student

• Guide students through progress in Edmentum and troubleshoot tech issues

• Document all contacts and notes in the Genius system

• Communicate weekly with parents of minors

• Set academic goals with students and celebrate their wins

• Join staff meetings, PD, and weekly 1:1s with the lead teacher.

✅ Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

• Valid teaching certificate (preferred)

• Experience in virtual teaching or mentoring

• Friendly, organized, tech-savvy, and proactive communicator

What Success Looks Like

• High student engagement and goal completion

• Active participation in meetings and trainings

Remote Work Setup We’ll send you a laptop and monitor. You’ll need a solid internet connection and a quiet, focused workspace.
