High School STEM Teacher [Bilingual in Mandarin]

Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and bilingual High School STEM Instructor fluent in both Mandarin and English to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Mathematics and/or STEM fields, with at least two years of teaching experience at the high school level. Experience in SAT Math instruction is strongly preferred.

This role requires deep subject expertise and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in a culturally diverse, bilingual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach bilingual high school students in subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Physics, and/or Computer Science.
• Provide focused instruction on SAT Math content, including problem-solving strategies, data analysis, and algebraic reasoning.
• Design engaging, standards-based lessons that promote critical thinking, STEM literacy, and student-centered learning.
• Adapt instruction to support bilingual/ESL students with varying levels of academic and language proficiency.
• Use formative and summative assessments to evaluate student understanding and provide individualized feedback.
• Promote respectful, inclusive classroom dynamics and encourage active student participation and academic excellence.
• Work with faculty across departments to support interdisciplinary projects and enhance school-wide academic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, Education, or a related STEM discipline
• Minimum of two years of high school teaching experience in STEM subjects
• Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English
• Strong classroom management, instructional design, and communication skills
• Familiarity with U.S. high school standards and assessment practices
• Commitment to advancing STEM education and supporting diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with international, ESL, or bilingual students
• Knowledge of AP-level Math or Science curriculum is a plus
