High School Tutor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Tutor to support students in achieving academic success across various subjects. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for education, and experience working with adolescents. Duties

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to high school students' individual needs.
• Assist students with understanding complex concepts across multiple subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning styles and educational requirements.
• Utilize learning technology and educational tools to enhance instruction and engagement.
• Support students in developing effective study habits, organizational skills, and test preparation strategies.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
• Assist with lesson planning and classroom management during tutoring sessions or supplementary educational activities.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation, confidence, and motivation.

Skills

• Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for high school students.
• Experience with learning technology platforms and digital educational resources.
• Proven tutoring or teaching experience, particularly with adolescents or in an academic setting.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques suitable for high school environments.
• Experience working with children, including those with special education needs or in early childhood education settings.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners, including those requiring additional support such as special education or preschool experience.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey concepts and motivate students.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
