Position Summary
The Vice Principal supports the Principal in providing strong academic leadership, ensuring adherence to CBSE guidelines, and maintaining a safe, positive learning environment. The role includes supervising staff, managing school operations, enhancing academic standards, and promoting the holistic development of students.
Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership
- Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring the academic program in alignment with CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
- Oversee lesson planning, classroom practices, assessments, and student performance.
- Ensure regular audits of academic processes and maintain documentation required by CBSE.
- Coordinate academic committees, subject departments, and school improvement initiatives.
2. Administrative & Operational Management
- Support day-to-day school administration, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Supervise and manage staff attendance, duty rosters, and substitute arrangements.
- Ensure timely preparation of academic calendars, timetables, and exam schedules.
- Assist in managing school events, assemblies, PTMs, and official correspondence.
3. Staff Supervision & Professional Development
- Provide guidance and leadership to teachers and administrative staff.
- Conduct classroom observations, provide feedback, and support teachers’ growth.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Assist in staff recruitment and performance evaluation.
4. Student Discipline & Welfare
- Enforce school rules, policies, and discipline in alignment with CBSE and school norms.
- Address student behavioral issues with sensitivity and fairness.
- Promote student well-being through counseling, mentoring, and pastoral care.
- Facilitate co-curricular, extracurricular, and value-based programs.
5. CBSE Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure timely submission of CBSE reports, registration data, inspection documents, and examination requirements.
- Maintain adherence to CBSE policies regarding safety, academic procedures, and school governance.
- Support preparation for CBSE inspections and accreditation processes.
6. Parent & Community Relations
- Maintain productive communication with parents and stakeholders.
- Organize and participate in Parent–Teacher Meetings and community outreach programs.
- Address parent grievances and promote a collaborative school environment.
7. Safety, Security & Infrastructure Oversight
- Monitor school safety protocols, child protection policies, and emergency procedures.
- Support the Principal in infrastructure planning and maintenance.
- Ensure effective use of school facilities and resources.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in any discipline; B.Ed/M.Ed mandatory.
- Minimum 5–10 years of teaching experience and 2–3 years in an academic/administrative leadership role (preferably in a CBSE school).
- Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum, policies, and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Preferably should have Maths, Physics & Chemistry background

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
