HIM Lead Application Analyst

Subject matter expert (SME) in performing daily tasks with the HealtheLife patient portal/proxy requests, RevElate merge error details, TSH application for record tracking and destruction, pieces of the Cerner HIM testing. This employee will be the “go to” for these applications/responsibilities. Also be will the lead in projects such as record destruction.

Responsibilities

• Manage, analyze, and correct RevElate HIM Merge Error reports
  • Create HealtheLife patient portal invitations/accounts
  • Manage tracking of records in TSH (uploads, destruction, moves)
  • Lead in projects such as record destruction
  • Participate in analysis, training, and testing of the systems
  • Other misc. duties (including Upload boxes to RRM and arrange pick up

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact)
The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages.
Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.
Competency Statement
Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist.

Education

• Associate's Degree

Substitution: 3 years Related experience and proficient in using Microsoft Office suite of applications may be substituted for Degree.
