INTRODUCTION:- We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Hindi School Hindi Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have native or near-native proficiency in Hindi, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to inspiring young learners to develop fluency in the Hindi language. Responsible for introducing the fundamental language skills and cultural knowledge.
CURRICULAM & METHODOLOGY:-
· Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate Hindi language lessons that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
· Teach fundamental language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Hindi, through interactive activities, games, songs, and stories.
· Introduce students to Hindi vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure, and provide opportunities for practice and reinforcement.
· Incorporate aspects of Indian culture, traditions, and customs into language instruction to promote cultural awareness and appreciation.
· Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to use the Hindi language.
· Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and language proficiency levels of primary grade students, including English language learners and students with diverse learning needs.
· Integrate technology tools and multimedia resources into language instruction to enhance learning and engagement.
· Collaborate with colleagues to align language instruction with other subject areas and create interdisciplinary connections
· Designing Hindi language Events calendar for an annual year with implementation strategies.
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:-
· Bachelor's degree in Education, Hindi Language, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
· Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi language.
· Previous experience teaching Hindi language preferred.
· Ability to engage students in lessons and activities through joyful and interactive methods.
· Creativity, enthusiasm, and patience for working with young children.
· Familiarity with a wide range of child centric instructional practices and styles.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
· Effective verbal, written and Non-verbal communication skills
· Collaborative spirit and willingness to work as part of a team.
Fair awareness on Hindi subject related resources (print & online), journals, organizations and student development opportunities.
Assessment & Feedback
· Inclusion of various types of assessments to test students’ abilities beyond memorization of subject content
· Providing extra resources, support, and interventions for students who are struggling academically.
· Drawing up helpful feedback to students, parents, and other teachers for improving the pupils’ learning abilities and skill development
Staff and Parents’ involvement
· Meeting with other teaching staff to discuss students’ progress or any concerns in academics and behavior.
· Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about students' progress, projects, and classroom activities.
BEHAVIORAL MANAGEMENT
· Fair knowledge on children socio-emotional theories and age-related behavioral aspects and challenges.
· Ability to address children disruptive behaviors and challenging situations.
· Ability to counsel children through socio-emotional and behavioral challenges.
· Ability to guide parents/care givers with appropriate resources and strategies to attend the children needs.
· To enable children to understand self and develop a healthy self-image.
· To enable children to make healthy relationships at school and build respect, integrity and care for each other.
· Ability to handle pupils’ medical needs and health conditions and maintain proper communication channel with school management and parents.
· Following safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION
· Maintenance of student academic records, and handling related administrative tasks.
· Assisting with the admission test papers preparation & evaluation, recruitment and training of all new teachers and providing support to school management.
· Meeting with staff, parents, or external bodies to discuss pupils’ progress or any concerns.
· Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on best practices in social studies education.
· Adhering to school leave and punctuality policy and school cultural norms to create a healthy learning and teaching space.
· Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills, stay current on research and best practices in education, and contribute to the school community.
· Organize extracurricular activities, be part of committees, and events for the student and school development.
