Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing field surveys using equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
- Support the collection of accurate field data including topographic features, property boundaries, and site conditions.
- Help ensure the accuracy and quality of collected survey data under supervision.
- Assist in processing and analyzing survey data using industry-standard software.
- Contribute to the preparation of survey drawings, maps, reports, and documentation.
- Perform basic calculations related to areas, elevations, and distances.
- Provide on-site support for engineering, construction, and land development projects.
- Work closely with senior surveyors, engineers, and other team members.
- Participate in boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layout tasks.
- Follow all legal, regulatory, and safety standards in surveying practices.
- Help maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment.
- Perform basic research of land records and legal documents under guidance.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Associate's Degree/Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in land surveying (internship or fieldwork experience is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of land surveying principles, equipment, and methods.
- Familiarity with survey software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble, or similar) is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret maps, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within the field.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
