Hiring – Maintenance Accountant

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Accountant / Property Maintenance Coordinator to oversee all aspects of property maintenance job orders, maintenance-related accounting activities, petty cash handling, supplier coordination, maintenance inspections, and reporting.

The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of general accounting principles, ERP system-based accounting, and maintenance operations within the real estate or construction sector. The candidate should demonstrate integrity, professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong desire for career growth.

Job ResponsibilitiesProperty Maintenance

  • Review and monitor maintenance contracts.
  • Review and sign job orders.
  • Track job order progress and completion.
  • Prepare monthly maintenance reports.
  • Prepare maintenance inspection reports.
  • Handle maintenance petty cash accounts.
  • Coordinate and manage suppliers and service providers.

Project & Job Cost Accounting

  • Record maintenance-related petty cash transactions.
  • Record supplier invoices in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and review payment vouchers.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Record maintenance income receipts.
  • Prepare property maintenance cost reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all transactions.

Other Responsibilities

  • Release cheques to suppliers.
  • Review and follow up AMC contracts.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • ACCA / CPA / CMA qualification preferred.
  • 5–10 years of accounting experience including GCC/Qatar experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in construction or real estate sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction accounting.
  • Experience in ERP accounting systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read and speak Arabic and English.
  • Real estate experience preferred.
  • Procurement and supplier handling experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Valid QID with NOC preferred.
