Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum based on the school's guidelines and educational objectives.
• Teach music theory, history, and performance techniques to students of different age groups and skill levels.
• Instruct students in playing one or more musical instruments, such as piano, guitar, violin, flute, etc., and provide guidance on proper techniques and practice routines.
• Assess students' musical abilities and progress through regular evaluations, tests, and performances.
• Organize and participate in school concerts, recitals, or other musical events to showcase students' talent and promote a love for music within the school community.
• Stay updated with current trends, resources, and methodologies in music education, and incorporate innovative teaching techniques into the curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding students' progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the selection, maintenance, and organization of musical instruments, equipment, and resources.
• Educate students on the importance of integrity, respect, and ethical behavior in sports.
• Encourage students to participate in extracurricular music activities, competitions, or festivals.
• Uphold and enforce school policies, rules, and regulations related to music education and ensure a respectful and inclusive atmosphere in the music classroom.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Music Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments.
• Strong knowledge of music theory, music history, and different musical genres.
• Prior teaching experience in music education, preferably in an educational institution.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop their musical talents.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching music.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
