Position: Planning Engineer

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction or contracting industry.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, and progress monitoring.
• Proficient in Primavera (P6) and MS Excel.
• Ability to prepare and analyze project progress reports, manpower histograms, and cash flow forecasts.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with project and site teams.
• Ready to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera (P6) or other planning software.
• Prepare detailed baseline programs, defining critical paths and project milestones.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Track project progress, identify delays, and prepare recovery plans and mitigation measures.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to management and clients.
• Assist in resource and cost planning, including manpower, materials, and equipment allocation.
• Analyze project performance against baseline schedules and highlight variances.
• Participate in progress meetings and present planning-related data when required.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, scope, and contractual requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing and methodology.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
