- Lesson planning and delivery: Develop and teach lessons according to curriculum guidelines, adapting methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
- Student assessment: Assign homework, administer and grade tests and quizzes, and provide constructive feedback to students on their performance.
- Classroom management: Create a safe, orderly, and respectful learning environment, managing student behavior and promoting a positive atmosphere.
- Student support: Provide guidance on academic and social issues, encourage student curiosity and critical thinking, and support their overall progress and well-being.
- Administrative and collaborative duties
- Communication: Meet with parents to discuss student progress, and cooperate with other school staff, colleagues, and supervisors.

- Curriculum development: Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum.
- Extracurricular activities: Help organize and supervise school activities, events, and field trips.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
- Administrative tasks: Handle various administrative duties, such as preparing reports and tracking attendance.
- Professional development: Attend meetings, workshops, and training to stay current on teaching methods and curriculum.
