Position: Secondary Teacher – History/Social Science
Location: Bannerghatta Road ,Bangalore 560076.
Department: Academics – Secondary

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher for our Secondary section. The candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing curriculum-aligned lessons in History while creating an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in History to students of grades [Specify Grades, e.g. 8 to 12].
• Prepare and execute lesson plans that align with the curriculum and learning objectives.
• Foster critical thinking, historical analysis, and discussion through classroom interaction and activities.
• Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Integrate technology and resources to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic coordinators to develop teaching strategies and interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
• Uphold school policies and contribute to extracurricular activities, events, and school initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and concerns.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in History, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or license (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Secondary education.
• Strong command over historical content and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage students.
• Familiarity with digital learning tools and educational platforms is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
