m2r Education are recruiting on behalf of an ultra-high-net-worth family in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia who are seeking an experienced and engaging Female History Teacher to join a bespoke summer learning programme for female students aged 13–14.

This is a unique short-term opportunity to work within a premium educational environment, delivering stimulating and interactive History sessions whilst supporting a wider programme of educational and enrichment activities. The successful candidate will be based in Saudi Arabia throughout the programme and will be provided with return flights, luxury accommodation, meals and local transport.

The programme will run from 1st July to 23rd July 2026, although candidates may be required to arrive a few days before the start date.

The Role

Reporting to the Education Team Leader, you will be responsible for the planning, design and delivery of engaging History lessons tailored to the students' interests, abilities and learning objectives.

You will deliver approximately 3 x 1-hour History sessions per week during the first three weeks of July. In addition, you will be expected to participate in the wider educational programme for approximately 3 hours per day, 6 days per week, supporting activities and engaging positively with the students throughout the programme.

The curriculum content and programme structure will be agreed following the successful completion of the pre-hiring assessment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate History lessons for students aged 13–14
• Create interactive learning experiences that encourage curiosity, discussion and critical thinking
• Develop lesson materials and activities tailored to the students' interests and abilities
• Use creative and experiential learning strategies to maximise engagement
• Monitor student participation and provide constructive academic feedback
• Foster confidence, independence and a genuine enthusiasm for learning
• Work collaboratively with the wider educational team to support the overall programme objectives
• Maintain professionalism, discretion and cultural sensitivity at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified History Teacher or experienced History Tutor
• Experience teaching students aged 13–14 (KS3 level)
• Strong ability to create engaging and enjoyable learning experiences
• Experience delivering personalised or small-group learning programmes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, adaptable and culturally sensitive approach
• Comfortable working within a private family environment
• Available to travel internationally during July 2026

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in History or a related subject
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent desirable)
• Minimum 3 years' teaching or tutoring experience preferred
