m2r Education are proud to be supporting <b>Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU)</b> with its current recruitment needs. They require<b> EFL Instructors </b>for the <b>Preparatory Year Program</b> to join either <b>ASAP or in September 2026.</b></div></div><div><p>
PMU has one consolidated and purpose-built location at which its degree programs are delivered. It is in the<b> Half-Moon Bay</b> area in <b>Al-Khobar in the Eastern Province </b>of KSA. The university opened 2006.</p>
<p>PMU has become established as a leading private university in the Eastern province and one of few such outstanding institutions in the whole of KSA. PMU is ranked 4th in the Times Higher Education - Arab World University Rankings and Ranked 101-150 in world best Young Universities QS-2021 Rankings.</p>
<p>The Preparatory Year Programme is a <b>pre-requisite for all university studies</b> and students are expected to <b>study and pass English (EFL/ESL) related courses </b>to allow for further academic development.</p>
<p><b>Role:</b></p>
<ul><li>Teaching load - 22hrs per week</li>
<li>Teach English to <b>undergraduate students</b></li>
<li>The program consists of four levels: <b>pre-beginner, beginner, intermediate, and advanced,</b> corresponding to CEFR levels A0- high B1.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements:</b></p>
<ul><li><b>MA TESOL</b> (or related subject such as Applied Linguistics, English Language Arts etc)</li>
<li>At least <b>5 years </b>of <b>Higher Education ESOL teaching </b>experience</li>
<li>3+ years of teaching experience <b>within the Middle East</b></li>
<li>Experience teaching ESL/EFL <b>at university level </b>within <b>preparatory bridge programs/foundation programs</b></li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty across disciplines</li>
<li>Familiar with technology, i.e. Moodle, Blackboard, Banner etc</li>
</ul>

PMU has one consolidated and purpose-built location at which its degree programs are delivered. It is in the Half-Moon Bay area in Al-Khobar in the Eastern Province of KSA. The university opened 2006.</p>

<p>Teaching load - Up to 20hrs per week</p>
<p><b>Requirements:</b></p>
<ul><li>PhD in Digital Humanities, Future Studies, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related interdisciplinary field</li>
<li>Master&rsquo;s degree in a relevant discipline</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of digital humanities methodologies, such as digital archives, text analysis, data visualization, AI-assisted research, or cultural analytics</li>
<li>Familiarity with future studies approaches, including foresight, scenario planning, trend analysis, and strategic futures</li>
<li>A research-based degree (PhD in the related field) from a Western University/ North American accredited institution, a distinguished and active record of sponsored research a history of excellent peer-reviewed scholarship.</li>
<li>At least 3 years teaching experience post qualification, including experience of working in Higher Education settings in the Middle East.</li>
<li>Expertise and commitment to graduate teaching and a strong track record of leadership, mentoring/sponsorship and personnel management, especially as it relates to oversight of multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary research.</li>
<li>Have developed a strong internally and externally funded, globally recognized research programs.</li>
<li>Possess a passion for and be committed to excellence in both graduate and undergraduate education in a highly interdisciplinary, collaborative, diverse, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture.</li>
