Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must have previous experience as an HMO Biller</li>
<li>Must have experience with collections</li>
<li>Experience in Insurance &amp; MLTC billing</li>
<li>Must have nursing home/long-term care experience</li>
<li> Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Confidence talking on the phone to patients and insurance representatives</li>
<li>Understanding of General Ledger</li></ul> 
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Claims follow-up</li>
<li>Working denials</li>
<li>Determining appropriate next steps based on AR &amp; Aging Reports</li>
<li>Reading and interpreting EOBs</li>
<li>Sending Corrected Claims</li>
<li>Calling insurance companies at various stages of the claims process</li></ul>
