HOD (Biology) – Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi

We are seeking a qualified Head of Department (HOD) to lead our Biology department at an educational institution in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will manage curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental operations. Responsibilities include guiding instructional quality, overseeing lesson design and faculty performance, and acting as the key communication point among students, faculty, and administration. We are looking for an experienced educator with a Master’s degree in Biology and a strong record in academic leadership, instructional planning, and faculty coordination.

Responsibilities

• Academic Leadership and Planning: Provide strategic direction for the Biology department. Lead curriculum enhancements and contribute to long-term academic development and innovation.
• Curriculum and Lesson Oversight: Supervise lesson planning, content creation, and assessment strategies. Maintain consistent academic standards through quality assurance practices.
• Faculty–Student–Management Liaison: Act as the central contact between Biology faculty, students, and the administrative team. Coordinate schedules and ensure effective collaboration.
• Monitor Teaching and Student Progress: Review teaching methods and analyze student performance data. Identify areas for instructional improvement and implement action plans to raise academic outcomes.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Biology (or a closely related field).
• Experience: Strong teaching and academic leadership background in school or educational settings.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience in curriculum development and assessment strategy design is preferred.

This position is full-time and based on-site in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. Remote work is not available for this role. Applicants must be authorized to work in Pakistan to be considered.
