HOD (Chemistry) – Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi

We are seeking a qualified Head of Department (HOD) to lead our Chemistry department at an educational institution in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for overseeing curriculum development, maintaining academic quality, and managing the departmental team. Key duties include strategic academic planning, curriculum oversight, lesson planning supervision, and fostering high teaching standards. The role also involves acting as a liaison among faculty, students, and management to ensure efficient academic operations. We are looking for a dedicated educator with a Master’s degree in Chemistry and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive excellence in our academic programs.

Responsibilities

• Academic Leadership and Planning: Lead the Chemistry department’s academic strategy and management. Oversee curriculum development and instructional material updates. Contribute to long-term academic planning and innovation.
• Curriculum and Lesson Oversight: Supervise curriculum design and lesson planning within the department. Review course content, assessments, and implement quality assurance measures to maintain high teaching standards.
• Faculty–Student–Management Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between the Chemistry faculty, students, and school management. Ensure smooth communication, schedule alignment, and collaborative operations.
• Monitor Teaching and Student Progress: Regularly observe classroom teaching and analyze student performance data. Evaluate teaching effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Chemistry (or a closely related field).
• Experience: Significant teaching and academic administration experience in a school or online education setting.
• Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Additional Qualifications: Familiarity with modern curriculum development and instructional best practices is preferred.

This position is full-time and based on-site in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. Remote work is not available for this role. Applicants must be authorized to work in Pakistan to be considered.
