Job Summary

Candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of home automation systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires technical expertise, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Setup:

· Install and configure home automation systems, including lighting, security, HVAC, and entertainment systems.

· Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and meets customer specifications.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

· Conduct regular maintenance and diagnostics on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, providing solutions to customers.

Customer Support:

· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding home automation systems.

· Educate customers on system operation and features to enhance their user experience.

System Upgrades:

· Assist with software updates and upgrades for existing home automation systems.

· Recommend improvements or enhancements to current systems based on customer needs.

Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and customer interactions.

· Provide detailed reports on system performance and any issues resolved.

Collaboration:

· Work closely with sales and project management teams to ensure customer requirements and specifications are met.

· Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.

Work Experience

Technical Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in home automation, electrical work, or a related technical field, demonstrating hands-on expertise in installation and maintenance.

Systems Knowledge:

• Familiarity with various home automation systems and technologies, such as smart lighting, security systems, HVAC controls, and entertainment systems.

Installation Skills:

• Proven experience in the installation and configuration of home automation devices and software, ensuring proper functionality and integration.

Troubleshooting Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively, with a proactive approach to resolving problems.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Relevant technical certifications or training in electronics, home automation systems, or similar areas is advantageous.
