Home Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in Saline, MI. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of each individual under their care.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Help clients with mobility and transferring safely
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean living environment
• Assist with medication reminders and routine health monitoring
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Report any changes in client condition promptly

Requirements

• Prior experience in home care or a related field preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist with mobility
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
