We pride ourselves on compliance, professionalism, and compassionate service to our patients and caregivers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Coordinator to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The HR Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This position requires experience in the home care industry, knowledge of NYS DOH and Department of Labor regulations, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of caregiver onboarding, including applications, CHRC, E-Verify, physicals, PPDs, and training requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with NYS DOH regulations, ensuring all personnel files are current and audit-ready.
  • Assist with new hire orientation (HHA/PCA), wage parity forms, and ongoing in-service requirements.
  • Track and update caregiver credentials, annual health assessments, and mandatory trainings.
  • Support payroll and scheduling departments by ensuring accurate and timely HR documentation.
  • Handle employee relations, attendance, disciplinary actions, and grievance tracking.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical HR files; assist with DOH, MLTC, and wage parity audits.
  • Collaborate with Intake, Nursing, and Scheduling departments to ensure seamless staffing operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience (preferably in a LHCSA or healthcare setting).
  • Compensation based on level of experience
  • Knowledge of NYS DOH regulations, LHCSA compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with HHAeXchange, Excel, and HRIS systems preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or Russian) strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
