Home care - Nurse - Female

A Home Care Nurse, or Home Health Nurse provides in-home care and nursing services to patients under the supervision of a Physician. Their primary duties include administering medication, changing the patient’s dressings and preparing reports for the Physician in charge.

A Home Care Nurse has several important duties and responsibilities these include:

• Managing a patient’s healthcare plan according to the Physician’s instructions
• Bathing and grooming the patient daily
• Checking temperature, blood pressure, pulse and other vital signs
• Administering and maintaining a record of all prescribed medication
• Checking for infection, bedsores and wounds in the patient
• Educating and advising Caregivers in the household
• Dressing or redressing wounds and assessing the progress of healing
• Developing and improving the healthcare plan in collaboration with other healthcare personnel in the household
• Providing palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable
• Make recommendations for devices ot tools that might improve the patient’s quality of life

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
