Right at Home of Reno is hiring a Home Care Scheduler to join our growing team! We’ve been nominated Best Place to Work multiple years in a row, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to keep both clients and caregivers supported, engaged, and on schedule.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in home care, home health, hospice, healthcare staffing, recruiting coordination, or other high-volume scheduling environments. If you’re highly organized, quick-thinking, and great at balancing multiple moving parts, we’d love to meet you.

This is more than a scheduling role — it’s a key position focused on care coordination, caregiver matching, communication, retention, and service excellence. This is an in-office position, and office hours are Monday through Friday 8a-5p. Competitive pay starting at $23/hour or higher based on experience and skills. Main Job Functions of Home Care Scheduler:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, families, and caregivers
  • Manage and coordinate the daily caregiver schedule to ensure all shifts are fully staffed and covered
  • Match caregivers with client needs, preferences, availability, and care requirements
  • Respond quickly to schedule changes, call-offs, and urgent staffing needs
  • Partner with office leadership and care management to ensure a high-quality client experience
  • Support strong caregiver engagement, communication, and retention
  • Help maintain consistency of care and excellent service delivery
  • Think proactively, solve problems quickly, and keep operations running smoothly
  • Participate in the office on-call rotation

Experience and Education of Home Care Scheduler:

  • Experience in home care, home health, hospice, healthcare staffing, recruiting coordination, or a related field
  • Prior experience with high-volume scheduling strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and think on your feet
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational ability
  • Logical thinker who can make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating closely with office leadership and team members
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed and assist with after-hours/on-call coverage
