Home Caregiver - Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana Counties

FirstLight Home Care is offering $14.25 to $15.25 per hour, double time for certain holidays. In addition, employees have the ability to GET PAID THE SAME DAY and scheduling flexibility.

We are looking for compassionate caregivers who:

• Want to improve the quality of life for a senior or any adult who needs a little extra support at home
• Enjoy developing relationships with the elderly
• Have an interest in taking clients to appointments while providing companionship
• Ability to drive and accompany clients to social events, shopping, movies, restaurants, doctor appointments, etc.
• Desire to help with household needs
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, hygiene, and supervision in the bathroom

Duties:

• Providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, bathroom assistance, etc.
• Ability to make/cook a basic meal
• Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
• Charting or taking notes for others to review
• Providing companionship and supportive listening

Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities

• Providing LIGHT housekeeping services such as vacuuming, laundry, dishes, etc.
• Running errands or taking clients to appointments.

Job Requirements:

• An active Driver's license
• Active car insurance
• A High School Diploma or GED, unless you are in a Technical school with an active STNA and 18
• At least a year's worth of home care experience, or a year's worth of nursing home experience. (If not, we can talk about our 60 hour HHA program to see if you're fit for it)
