About the Position

We’re seeking a talented Architectural Designer to collaborate with our design-build team on residential projects — from concept through construction. The ideal candidate has experience in residential design and enjoys turning homeowner ideas into buildable, efficient plans.

You’ll work closely with clients, project managers, and field crews to develop designs for home additions, remodels, kitchens, and full renovations.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual designs, floor plans, and elevations for residential projects
• Develop detailed construction drawings using CAD or design software
• Collaborate with clients to refine designs that meet their vision and budget
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure constructability
• Update and revise plans as needed throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain accuracy, code compliance, and attention to detail in all drawings

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Architecture, Design, Drafting, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential architectural design (additions/remodels preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect, or similar software
• Strong understanding of residential building codes and construction methods
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with field teams
• Creative thinker with a practical, “figure it out” mindset
