Home Health Aide

Job Summary
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their own homes. Duties

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Support patients with assisted living needs by helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Provide mobility assistance while ensuring proper safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other caregivers to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans in home and community settings

Requirements

• Must have New Jersey CHHA Certification
• Proven experience in home health care or long-term care environments; nursing home experience is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of caregiving best practices for senior care and individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities
• Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills with clients and team members
• Demonstrated ability to perform patient observation diligently and respond promptly to changing health needs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred for travel between client locations
• Compassionate attitude combined with a strong commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards
