Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and caregiving practices, as well as adherence to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Provide catheter care and support with mobility to ensure client safety.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation regarding client care and progress.
• Ensure the living environment is clean, organized, and conducive to the health of the client.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and needs.
• Follow all safety protocols and HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, particularly in a nursing home setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation.
• Familiarity with medication administration processes and best practices.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality in all interactions.
• Ability to perform basic cleaning tasks to maintain a safe environment for clients.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Per diem

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
