We are seeking compassionate and dedicated HHAs and CNAs to join our healthcare team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home health environments. This position requires a strong commitment to supporting patients with daily living activities, monitoring their health, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Duties
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide care for patients with specific needs such as Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and hospice care.
- Assist with catheter care and the use of Hoyer lifts for patient mobility.
- Engage in patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior and report findings to nursing staff.
- Maintain cleanliness in patient areas, including laundry duties and general housekeeping tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients while fostering a positive environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an HHA/CNA or in a caregiving role is preferred; experience in long-term care or home health is a plus.
- Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications related to caregiving are beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities or require specialized memory care.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and moving patients safely.
- Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
