Home Improvement Sales Consultant

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Home Improvement Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the key driver of sales growth by engaging with customers, understanding their renovation and remodeling needs, and providing expert guidance on high-end home improvement solutions. Responsibilities

• Engage with customers through outside sales visits to identify their home improvement goals.
• Use layout design tools to create customized renovation plans that meet client specifications.
• Demonstrate products and remodeling materials effectively to highlight features and benefits.
• Negotiate pricing, upsell additional services or products, and close sales confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Manage account relationships by following up on leads, tracking sales progress, and ensuring customer satisfaction after installation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote high-end sales initiatives and participate in merchandising efforts to showcase our product offerings.
• Assist customers with product demos, basic math calculations for estimates, POS transactions, as well as financing options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within renovation, construction, or interior design sectors is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of layout design software is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to upsell products and services effectively.
• Solid understanding of remodeling processes, interior design principles and general construction practices.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
• Basic math skills for estimating costs and preparing proposals accurately
• Ability to work both independently in outside sales environments and collaboratively within a team setting. Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
