Home Office Advisor

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial planning and investment advisory services while helping drive the continued growth of a nationally expanding registered investment adviser (RIA). The Financial Advisor will manage client relationships, support affiliated Investment Adviser Representatives (IARs), and collaborate with independent insurance partners to expand advisory capabilities across the firm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and manage a portfolio of client relationships, including ongoing communication, in-person and virtual meetings, regular account reviews, performance reporting, and oversight of client-facing technology and portals.
• Proactively develop new client relationships and grow an individual book of business through professional networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships, providing holistic financial planning and customized investment advice.
• Play an active role in onboarding and mentoring new IARs by supporting advisor technology, financial planning tools, custodial platforms, and operational workflows.
• Partner with IARs to design and implement financial plans, conduct investment and market analysis, recommend portfolio strategies, and address client inquiries related to planning and investment decisions.
• Assist partner organizations and insurance agencies seeking to add or transition into IAR capabilities by delivering full advisory support, including travel to meet clients and stakeholders when necessary.
• Serve as a trusted resource for IARs and external partners, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and ongoing relationship management.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve service-related challenges while maintaining high standards of professionalism and responsiveness.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships with IARs and participate in joint client meetings to enhance client experience and advisor effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Four (4) or more years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or a related discipline
• Series 65 license, or Series 6/7 with Series 66
• Life & Health insurance license preferred
• Bilingual skills considered a plus

• Proficiency with advisory platforms, business systems, and industry-specific tools and terminology.
• Advanced working knowledge of productivity and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
• Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize workloads, and maintain organization in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve internal and external issues effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling productive relationships with clients, advisors, and partner firms.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver results within established timelines.
