Our client is a mission-driven firm that follows a unique &quot;Simple, Educational, and Transparent&quot; (SET) process to help retirees achieve financial peace of mind. 
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to lead their digital presence. This is a pivotal role for a storyteller who understands how to turn complex financial concepts &ndash; like Hybrid Pensions and Medicare &ndash; into engaging, high-performing video content for YouTube and social media.
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite/Hybrid options may be discussed) Compensation: $50,000 &ndash; $80,000 per year

Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
End-to-End Production: Edit high-quality educational videos using Final Cut Pro, ensuring all content aligns with the firm&rsquo;s &quot;SET&quot; philosophy.</li><li>
YouTube Management: Manage the firm&rsquo;s YouTube channel, including the creation of long-form educational content and high-impact YouTube Shorts.</li><li>
Visual Strategy: Design eye-catching, high-click-through-rate (CTR) thumbnails and social media assets.</li><li>
Script Writing &amp; Optimization: Collaborate with the advisor team to write and refine scripts that are both informative and optimized for viewer retention.</li><li>
SEO Mastery: Implement YouTube and Social Media SEO best practices (titles, tags, descriptions) to expand the firm's reach to retirees nationwide.</li><li>
Independent Project Management: Act as a self-starter, managing the content calendar from initial concept through to final upload and promotion.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
Software Expertise: Professional-level proficiency in Final Cut Pro is mandatory.</li><li>
Proven Track Record: Experience growing or managing a YouTube channel with a focus on educational or &quot;how-to&quot; content.</li><li>
The &quot;Social&quot; Edge: Deep understanding of short-form video trends (Shorts/Reels) and how to hook an audience in the first 3 seconds.</li><li>
Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for pacing, audio levels, color grading, and on-screen graphics.</li><li>
Communication: Strong scriptwriting skills; ability to take complex financial topics and make them digestible for a senior demographic.</li><li>
Industry Interest: While a background in Finance/Insurance isn't required, a willingness to learn the &quot;ins and outs&quot; of retirement planning is essential to ensure content accuracy.</li></ul>
