About the Home Room Teacher role

Ahmedabad International School is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic educator for IB Primary Year Program for Grade 5

Specific responsibilities

• Creates and plans trans-disciplinary units of inquiry from which lessons are taught and supports this with written planning
• Develops and teaches a course of study according to the school’s grade-level scope and sequence
• Provides a stimulating learning atmosphere within the classroom
• Incorporates the Essential Elements of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) into inquiry-based, constructivist learning experiences within the classroom
• Collaborates with other teachers in planning on a regular basis.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Ability to provide a dynamic and motivational environment to learners between the ages of 6 to 11 years
• Experience as an educator in Primary
• Experience as an IB PYP teacher is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
