You don’t just support families — you help create safe, stable futures for children who need it most
The mission of CPLC's Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families, through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services. Our vision is for all new arrivals to be welcomed with equitable, high-quality services and resources so they can maximize their potential.
As a Home Study (HS) Case Worker, you will play a vital role in helping ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and youth within immigrant and refugee communities.
You will conduct home studies and provide post-release services using trauma-informed care, child welfare practices, and professional case management. Through thoughtful assessment and collaboration, you will help determine safe placements for minors and connect families with essential community resources.
You are compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to protecting the well-being of children and families. You thrive in meaningful work that requires both strong clinical judgement and empathetic communication.
You are comfortable working in the community, collaborating with diverse populations, and supporting families navigating complex circumstances. You bring professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and a trauma-informed approach to every interaction.
