Homecare Aide (7AM-2PM; MON-FRI)

Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized and supportive care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of empathy. Responsibilities:

• Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals based on clients' dietary preferences and restrictions.

• Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility challenges by providing assistance with walking, transfers, and exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals.

• Companionship: Engage in friendly conversation, companionship, and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.

• Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment.

• Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.

• Monitoring Health Conditions: Observe and report any changes in clients' health conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any changes in clients' conditions.

• Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.

• Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of clients.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions:

This position may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients' schedules. Home Care Aides may work independently or as part of a team, providing care in various home settings.
