Homeroom Teacher (Year 2)

Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Homeroom Teacher (Year 2) at one of our Prime National Schools - Scholar's International Language School to join our educational community. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the development and growth of students in Year 2, providing exceptional instruction and fostering a nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the Year 2 curriculum requirements.
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
• Create a stimulating and positive classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and well-being.
• Encourage collaboration and communication among students to develop social skills and teamwork.
• Involve parents and guardians in their child's educational journey through effective communication and regular updates on progress.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to contribute to the school's goals and culture.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or PGCE).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school context, particularly with Year 2.
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and child-centered learning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of students.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning experiences.
