Role Purpose / Objective
The HG Middle East Operations Head will provide strategic leadership and operational excellence for Homeschool Global’s ME business.
This role ensures smooth, efficient, and scalable operations across all functional areas (sales, marketing, HR, customer support, finance) while driving growth, maintaining high-quality service for homeschool families, and aligning with HG’s mission and values.
The role requires someone with strong operational capability, commercial mindset (marketing + sales), and people-centric orientation (HR).
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Define and implement the growth strategy for Homeschool Global in the Middle East region.
- Lead sales and marketing initiatives to acquire new families and retain existing ones.
- Develop KPIs, growth forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Work with the global leadership to align regional initiatives with the overall strategy.
2. Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations across enrollment, curriculum delivery, customer support, parent engagement, events, and co-op activities.
- Implement and optimize systems and processes for efficiency, scalability, and quality (SOPs, CRM, workflows).
- Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Lead risk management, regulatory compliance (as applicable in ME), and quality assurance.
3. Sales & Marketing
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for the ME homeschooling market (digital campaigns, parent workshops, partnerships, events).
- Build and guide the sales team; set sales targets, incentives, and sales processes.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights to improve product-market fit.
4. Human Resources / People Operations
- Lead HR strategy for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and development.
- Foster a culture aligned with HG’s mission and Christian values.
- Build team capability: hire, coach, and develop strong operations and support teams.
- Implement career paths, talent retention strategies, employee engagement, and recognition programs.
5. Parent / Family Engagement
- Design and manage programs for parent engagement (training, orientations, co-op events, community-building).
- Ensure high standards of customer service; develop retention and satisfaction metrics.
- Oversee communication channels (newsletters, social media, platform communication).
6. Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with accrediting bodies, regional authorities, education networks, and event partners.
- Represent HG Middle East at conferences, parent events, and external forums.
- Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and scaling strategies.
7. Monitoring & Reporting
- Report regularly on regional performance: growth metrics, financials, operational KPIs, and risks.
- Use data to guide decisions and improve processes.
- Maintain dashboards, performance metrics, and review systems.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Operations Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience with strong exposure in operations, sales, marketing, and HR. (Adjusted for Operations Head level)
- Experience in education, edtech, or the K-12/homeschool sector is highly desirable.
- Experience working in Middle East markets or cross-cultural operations is a strong advantage.
