Job Summary:
Responsible for the daily care and well-being of horses, ensuring they are healthy, well-fed, and living in a clean, safe environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Feed horses according to established schedules and dietary requirements (hay, grains, supplements, fresh water).
• Clean and disinfect stables, stalls, and equipment daily to maintain hygiene.
• Groom horses, including brushing, hoof cleaning, and checking for injuries or illnesses.
• Turn horses in and out of paddocks or pastures.
• Monitor horse health and behavior, promptly reporting any signs of illness or injury to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of water troughs, feed bins, and tack areas.
• Assist with exercising horses if required (lunging, light riding, or walking).
• Handle horses safely, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Perform routine maintenance of stable facilities (mending fences, clearing pathways, removing waste).
• Assist veterinarians and farriers during visits.

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in horse handling and care.
• Knowledge of equine feeding, grooming, and health care practices.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
• Patience, attentiveness, and a calm demeanor around animals.
• Basic first aid knowledge for horses (preferred).
• Ability to follow safety protocols and stable procedures.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor and indoor stable environments.
• Early mornings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
• Physical work including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From QAR1,500.00 per month
