Horticultural Manager

Job Title: Horticulture Manager – Construction Projects / Real Estate

Location: Ludhiana
Experience: 5–10 Years (Landscaping / Real Estate / Construction Projects)
Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Agriculture or Horticulture

Job Summary:

The Horticulture Manager will oversee all landscape and green area development across construction sites and completed real estate projects. The role includes planning, plantation, maintenance, irrigation setup, and ensuring the visual and environmental quality of all landscaped zones within the project.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise landscaping and plantation work for real estate and infrastructure projects.
• Manage planting of lawns, trees, shrubs, and seasonal plants as per design and climate suitability.
• Prepare BOQs and cost estimates for horticulture and landscaping works.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and contractors for on-site execution.
• Oversee irrigation systems, soil preparation, and use of fertilizers and pesticides.
• Maintain plant health and ensure timely replacement of dead or unhealthy plants.
• Manage a team of gardeners and site supervisors for upkeep of landscaped areas.
• Monitor AMC contracts and vendor performance for horticulture maintenance.
• Maintain documentation of plantation schedules, nursery stock, and maintenance records.
• Ensure adherence to safety, sustainability, and environmental norms.

Skills Required:

• In-depth knowledge of horticulture, landscape execution, and plant species.
• Experience with irrigation systems, pest management, and soil improvement.
• Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
• Ability to work closely with civil and project teams during construction stages.

Qualification:

• B.Sc / M.Sc in Horticulture or Agriculture
• Diploma / Certification in Landscape Management (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
