Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas in line with health and safety standards.
• Conduct routine checks of supplies and report shortages to the supervisory staff.
• Follow proper infection control practices and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, windowsills, and equipment.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials, including biohazard waste when necessary.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions or repairs needed to the management team.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other departments to address specific cleaning needs or requests.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare setting, is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
