We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
Local Team Collaboration:

Join our close-knit team of 33 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (APPs) at UF Health Jacksonville and UF Health Jacksonville North.

Collaborate with dedicated clinical performance nurses and work closely with a wide array of specialists, case managers, and nurses.

Be part of a Level I tertiary facility, where we engage in daily interdisciplinary meetings with key departments to optimize patient care.
Qualifications:

Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine.

Valid Florida medical license (or ability to obtain).

Experience in a hospitalist or inpatient setting is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

As a hospitalist, you will handle complex cases in a closed ICU, with intensivist coverage during the day and night.

You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent care without the expectation of doing procedures or running codes.

Collaborate with case management, nursing, and pharmacy to improve patient outcomes and streamline care.

Compensation:

Competitive salary from $250,000 to $328,500. Additional incentives for extra shifts.
