Position Summary
The Hospital Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of hospital operations. This role involves coordinating between departments, optimizing workflows, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily hospital operations across clinical and non-clinical departments
• Act as a central point of communication between medical staff, administration, and support services
• Monitor patient flow and ensure timely admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Assist in implementing operational policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Track departmental performance metrics and prepare operational reports
• Support scheduling of staff, ensuring adequate coverage and resource allocation
• Handle patient concerns and escalate issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies
• Coordinate maintenance of facilities and ensure availability of medical supplies
• Collaborate with HR and management on staffing, training, and performance improvements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in hospital or healthcare operations
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in hospital management systems and MS Office
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards in Qatar is preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and handle complex operational challenges
