NOC SERVICE LEAD

JOB DESCRIPTION

The NOC Service Lead is responsible for leading Network Operations Center (NOC) activities, ensuring effective monitoring, incident management, and service continuity across all environments. The role focuses on team leadership, escalation management, and aligning NOC operations with defined processes and service standards. The NOC Service Lead plays a critical role in maintaining system uptime, driving operational excellence, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the NOC team
  • Oversee monitoring of networks, systems, and applications
  • Manage and handle escalations, ensuring timely resolution of critical incidents
  • Ensure adherence to ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
  • Drive process alignment and standardization across NOC operations
  • Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics for service delivery
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Conduct shift planning, team supervision, and performance management
  • Prepare and present operational reports and service reviews
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong experience in NOC operations and service management
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Expertise in incident and escalation management
  • Good understanding of monitoring tools and IT infrastructure
  • Knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

POTENTIAL BACKGROUND

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in NOC / IT Operations
  • Experience leading NOC teams in enterprise environments
  • Exposure to multi-vendor and multi-technology environments
  • Experience in handling high-severity incidents and escalations

CERTIFICATIONS (MANDATORY/PREFERRED)

  • ITIL Foundation – Preferred

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

  • Arabic or Non-Arabic Speaker
