Hospitality aide (multiple shifts)

As a hospitality aide, you will assist CHCC nursing staff and our residents with a number of nonmedical care needs. This is an entry-level health care role.

Wages:

• Aide: $17.35 to $23.35 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.
• CNA: $18.50 to $23.35 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.
• $1/hour shift differential for evening shift hospitality aide

Shift options (please specify when applying):

• 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Two days per week.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Approximately 12 hours per week, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Transport individuals to and from meals and activities.
• Restock supplies.
• Tidy rooms, change bedding and keep personal care equipment clean.
• Help distribute snacks and beverages.
• Help answer call lights.
• Visit with residents as directed by a licensed nurse.

Qualifications:

• Support CHCC’s mission
• 18+ years of age or enrolled in Running Start.
• High school diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Able to obtain a Dining Room Assistant Certificate (training provided by CHCC).

Skills:

• Team-oriented, able to work collaboratively with others.
• Self-directed and able to work independently.
• Excellent attendance.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Detail-oriented and able to complete tasks as assigned.
• Able to provide a pleasant, positive and calm environment for residents.
