We are a boutique hospitality and restaurant interior design firm dedicated to creating memorable, functional, and innovative spaces. We are seeking an experienced Interior Design CAD Drafter to join our in-house drafting department and help bring our projects to life.

Position Overview:
The Interior Design CAD Drafter will be responsible for producing detailed construction documents and millwork drawings for hospitality and restaurant projects. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in hospitality design, excellent problem-solving instincts, and the confidence to communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors. This is not a remote position; candidates must be able to work on-site in our Orange County office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed construction documents and millwork drawings for hospitality and restaurant projects.
• Develop CAD drawings from sketches and layouts based on instructions from Principal Designer and/or Managers.
• Perform field verification to confirm as-built conditions.
• Update plans in response to evolving design revisions or feedback.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Submit construction documents for approvals and permits; ensure compliance with applicable building codes.
• Conduct targeted research to support project development as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3–5 years of interior design drafting experience, preferably in hospitality projects.
• Education: Degree in Interior Design or Architecture preferred
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office (ie: Word, Excel), Adobe Suite.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction documents, millwork detailing, and architectural plan interpretation.
• Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter. Able to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and thrive independently or on a team.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude; able to work independently or as part of a team.
